Tobias Whale (Michael Leon Wooley) is the most powerful gangster in Gotham City, and, after years of trying, Batman just got the evidence to put him away. But Whale is not going to be harpooned easily. After his lawyer tells Lieutenant Gordon to free Whale or else, the gangster has Barbara Gordon (Tara Strong) kidnapped and held in "The Cauldron," the most dangerous part of Gotham. Even the cops are afraid of this place, but not Batman. With Alfred and Katana's help, they stage a raid on the Cauldron, which is populated by a frightening group of thugs called "the Ghosts." As it turns out, the Ghosts aren't the most fearsome threat. Barbara Gordon is being guarded by a dangerous figure with a flaming head, who calls himself Phosphorous Rex..

ExcellentI've been researching this show for quite some time, and have been skeptical about it; after seeing it, I enjoy it quite a bit!! I think the adjustments to Alfred's character are somewhat annoying, considering I'm a huge fan of the comics, but I am open to many interpretations. Hopefully this will come close to the Kevin Conroy Batman Animated Series. So far I'm really like it!!.Score: 3/5
Great showI don't know why everyone hates this show; The CGI is a first for Batman TV shows yes but it works, I like the look of everyone (except Alfred), another complaint I hear is the lack of memorable villains, but their are some foes we've seen, like Ra's Al Ghual, and villains who are getting more well known like Anarky, and I actually like some of the new villains like Magpie, Pig, and Toad, maybe for the second season we'll see more familiar faces, but for now I have no complaints for the shows rouges gallery, and as for Katana, she's actually not a new character for the show, she was in the comics and it's happy to see her first leap onto the small screen. All in all, give it a shot, voice acting is good, CGI is good, story and humor is good, and the villains are good. It's no TAS but it's still a great show..Score: 5/5
All in all well done.Very sorry there won’t be a 2nd season or more..Score: 5/5
Has potentialI like how this series is not starting with the original rogues gallery right away and getting deeper into lesser known villains. I say when the time is right they introduce some more popular villains. I hope this show lasts a long while..Score: 4/5
Sweet addition to the Batman MythosHaving grown up with Batman The Animates series ( BTAS ) back in 1992 and following that incarnation until the end of Justice League Unlimited in 2006, it is my opinion that this Batman and any subsequent show that may or may not spins off from this will leave exciting memories in the minds of its viewers and if older fans give it a chance (we older fans should try not to be so harsh in our online posts. This could potentially ruin younger newer fans), hopefully, create an entirely new animated DCU for a new generation of younger viewers..Score: 4/5
Great Batman ShowGreat show for all types of Batman fans, kids and adults. The voice acting, animation, and writing is amazing. Everyone should watch this..Score: 5/5
Beware!Obviously nothing will every compare to Batman: The Animated Series. That is the DEFINITIVE Batman to me. With that in mind, I am always open to a new quality Batman show! Having seen the first episode of Beware the Batman, I can say that I'm very interested in seeing more and I think this will be a nice refreshing take on the Batman world. The most noticeable change to past shows is the use of CGI animation. The first episode did not have much going on in the background - it felt weird to see an empty Gotham City at night. I think this is something that will improve over time just as Green Lantern: TAS did. Another change in this show is the use of more obscure villains. One of the greatest things about Batman is his amazing rogues gallery. No other comic book character has such a wide range of interesting and story filled villains. While I'm sure many will be asking where the Joker or Two Face is, I think it's refreshing to see some of the more unknown baddies such as Professor Pyg and the Toad. Who knows…. maybe they will bring in some of the A-Listers later on. Some other significant changes include Alfred's role in the show which is a little different than usual. There is more focus on his MI6 past and he is more involved in Bruce's training and fighting regiment. Though we haven't seen much of her yet, Katana will also play a major role in the show fighting alongside Bruce. Overall, the atmosphere of the show seems to be leaning toward the darker, more serious tone of B:TAS, which is great. Warner Bros. has been putting out quality DC animation for years, be it through their direct to video movies or animated TV series, and this show is no exception! There may be some aspects that will take some getting used to but I think we are in for another terrific Batman show!.Score: 5/5

Very enjoyable!A lot of people have been pretty harsh towards this series, stating that its just not as good as batman TAS, which I believe is an unfair judgement. I am a huge fan of Batman TAS and it is the best animated series ever in my opinion, but beware the batman really does have its shining moments and is a great new addition to the batman mythos. The CGI animation isn't my favorite style, but it does look really cool in some parts, such as the opening scene when batman sneaks through the shadows. The thing i really enjoy about this show is that batman uses a lot of his detective skills and thats always great to see. Overall its a fun show to watch and is a great new take on the dark knight detective!.Score: 4/5
